Bingo Survey

Do you play bingo online or at the bingo halls? Both games are very different and so it may not come as a surprise to find that a recent bingo survey showed that just 19% of bingo players enjoy both online bingo and bingo at the bingo hall.

The games, although based on the same actual game are quite different and that might explain why many bingo players choose one over the other. However while bingo halls decline and the blame for that is put squarely at the virtual door of the online bingo halls, this bingo survey would suggest that actually isn’t fair.

That’s because this research by the Money Supermarket shows that a massive 52% of bingo players still prefer to play bingo games exclusively at land based bingo halls, while 29% play exclusively online. The remaining 19% are more flexible and they play both at the bingo halls and enjoy the online game.

Both games of course have advantages and disadvantages and while playing at the bingo hall is sociable and a reason to get out of the house, online bingo offers convenience and ease of play that the bingo halls simply could never offer.

Of course with so much free bingo around right now and television being used as a successful medium to promote the online game you can only guess that more and more bingo players are going to try out virtual bingo halls, especially as the population becomes even more accepting of the internet as part of our lives and become more net savvy.

Personally I think the online game is king, the chat, the convenience and the fun that comes with online bingo can’t be beaten at any bingo hall, what do you think?
