£50,000 Bingo Payout

A woman from Nuneaton has won £50,000 playing the National Bingo Game at her local bingo club over the bank holiday weekend. She won a half share of the £100,000 jackpot prize fund after getting a full house in 40 numbers. A player in Wales did the same thing to win the other half of the top prize.

The National Bingo Game, which was launched in 1986, is the biggest game controlled by computer in the UK apart from the National Lottery. It provides massive jackpots by connecting players from more than 500 clubs across the nation to the same game.

The prize levels vary according to the time of day and the day of the week. Each afternoon (except on Saturday) players can play Afternoon Delight for the chance of landing a top prize of £20,000. Evening prizes are even bigger, with jackpots of £50,000 on Mondays and Tuesdays, £100,000 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and a whopping £200,000 on Sundays.

In total, the National Bingo Game pays out more than £1,000,000 per week to its players, and it doesn’t cost much to get involved. A strip of six tickets in the afternoons costs just £1, and evening session tickets start from 25p each.

Whilst all traditional bingo clubs are expecting the number of players attending each session to fall when the ban on smoking in public places comes into force on July 1st, those that offer the National Bingo Game should be among those that continue to be popular. This is because the high level of prizes offered by the National Bingo Game are difficult to find anywhere else, and even online bingo progressive jackpots would struggle to compete with a £100,000 or £200,000 top prize.

The Nuneaton bank holiday weekend winner of the National Bingo Game is aged 28, but has requested to remain anonymous.
