Gala National Bingo Success

A Gala Bingo player from Plymouth is celebrating a National Bingo Game win worth over £69,000. The 38 year old women, who works as a cleaner, made a full house in 43 calls at the Charles Cross Gala Club on Sunday 15 June.

Her success brought her a house prize of £150, a regional prize of £3,348 and a National Bingo Game prize of £65,720, giving her a grand total of £69,218. She has been playing at the Gala Club for around twelve years, and currently plays twice a week with her daughter.

This is not the first time that the woman has been successful at Gala. Two years ago – on Mothers Day – she won a very handy £2,000, and only a couple of months ago her daughter won £1,000. With a £69,000 win now under her belt is seems clear that loyalty and patience really can pay off in this game.

Like many National Bingo Game winners, success sent this lucky woman into a bit of a spin for a short while, and the winner herself explained afterwards: “I wasn’t quite sure what was going on at first but my daughter told me how much I had won. I’ve just started to learn to drive so I can now buy myself a car.” Her other plans for the money include paying off her bills and buying new furniture.
