Gary Barlow celebrates with bingo

There can be no doubt about the popularity of bingo and if anyone was in any doubt now Gary Barlow and his wife get into the spirit too. At their anniversary this week Gary Barlow celebrates with bingo and played bingo caller himself.

The couple celebrated their anniversary in a star-studded bash in London’s Manderin Oriental Hotel but there was nothing posh about this evening as Gary Barlow went back to his working men’s club roots and became a bingo caller for his guests for the evening.

The anniversary evening went off like a bang, which also doubled as a fundraiser for the Barnado’s charity. Guests included big names like Cheryl Cole, Chris Moyles and Alesha Dixon who climbed Kilimanjaro with Gary and others such as Denise Van Outen and Ferne Cotton who all got into the spirit of the evening with bingo daubers in hand.

Gary hosted the bingo himself, calling all the numbers and all the guests got into the spirit of things. It must have been the most star-studded game of bingo ever seen.

Who knows where all this will lead, will any of the celebs end up hooked in the game? Will we end up watching the X Factor next year and see shots of Cheryl Cole playing at FoxyBingo in her dressing room? We can see Chris Moyles as an 888Lady, logging onto 888Ladies during his radio show.

Finally the stars realise what we have been saying for years now, online bingo is cool, on trend and the game to play in twenty-ten.
