Two online bingo players won more than they expected when they found love at the JackpotJoy web site. The couple, who are known by their first names of Carl and Tracey, took part in a chat room game of Blind Date organised by the bingo site as a special Valentine's Day promotion. Like it's television namesake, the Blind Date game involved players asking each other a series of romantic questions.

Carl, 32, asked Tracey, 33, "If you were a Pot Noodle, what flavour would you be?" Tracey's response was almost immediate. "Hot and Spicy, of course!"

It may have been a tongue-in-cheek game to begin with, but the chat room game actually sparked an ongoing online conversation which eventually led to a real life date in London. Tracey's father was understandably cautious about his daughter meeting someone she had only "met" online, so Carl decided to do the gentlemanly thing and visit the family in person before the date.

Unfortunately, Carl's timing meant that he paid his visit during a family party, and ended up meeting no less then seventy of Tracey's relatives, including her two children. This may have felt a bit like diving in at the deep end, but luckily Carl received the blessing of the entire family and the couple went on to enjoy their London date as originally planned.

"It was love at first sight!" Tracey said afterwards. "It was amazing, totally amazing".

So why exactly do the couple get on so well? "Having fun, that's the main thing," Tracey says. And Carl agrees. "She's just a happy smiling person and she's great to have around."

From that humble beginning of playing a tongue-in-cheek game in an online bingo chat room, true romance blossomed in a big way. Carl and Tracey are now living together and are looking forward to moving into a larger house in the near future.
