It’s a far cry from a few months ago when this popular soap was sponsored by the Airwick brand of air freshener products and Tombola Bingo sponsoring Emmerdale is sure to be a more interesting choice.

The deal has been long fought over and was eventually brokered by the ITV sponsorship and ITV regional sales team and will include sponsorship on all of the Emmerdale programmes on ITV1 and repeats on ITV2 and ITV3. The deal also covers online sponsorship on the ITV website and is sure to make the Tombola Bingo name one of the most recognisable in the online bingo world.

Sponsorship of Emmerdale by Tombola Bingo will start with immediate effect and run until the end of January 2011 which means we’re sure to get a lot of Tombola coverage when we settle down to watch this long running soap.

The sponsorship deal will see a Tombola Bingo ident or advert show in and out of the ad breaks on Emmerdale and these ads will be created by Euro RSCG.
