The aim behind Think Bingo is to offer an experience which is comparable to one you might have in a typical modern bingo club. The home page sets the tone with an attractive and well thought out design. It avoids the “box” approach taken by many sites and instead presents a more curvaceous image in soft pastel colours. A menu on the left makes it easy to navigate your way to the various areas of the site, which include a relatively rare (in the bingo world at least) online discussion forum. This allows players to enjoy ongoing conversations even when they aren’t all online by posting messages for each other on a board. It’s a nice touch we’d like to see implemented at many other sites.

Before you can play at Think Bingo you will need to open an account. To do this simply select the REGISTER tab on the main menu and enter your personal details on the page which opens as a result. If you want to make a deposit immediately you will also need to enter your credit and debit card details, but the whole process should still only take a minute or two.

Talking of which, the game itself is of the pattern bingo variety. As many of you will realise, pattern bingo requires you to mark a specific shape on your cards – anything from the four corners to the shape of the number 8. Bingo cards start from as little as 10p each and you are allowed to play as many as 24 cards in any given game. Obviously, you can’t mark that many cards manually and live to tell the tale, so Think Bingo have provided the obligatory automatic daubing facility which does the job automatically. The numbers during the game are called by a fellow who sounds incredibly happy to be doing his job, and when you win the whole room will give you a cheer.

This sense of atmosphere is well supported by a strong chat room system which gives you four rooms to choose from. All of them are very well managed by Chat Moderators and you won’t have to wait long before being welcomed to the group.

There are no mini games on offer at Think Bingo, but really the chat and bingo game itself are so immersive that this is no real problem. Overall then, Think Bingo offers a great “modern club” experience which will appeal to any pattern bingo fan.

Think Bingo opened a new site in October 2006 called ThinkBingoPlus, which is described as "Think Bingo's naughty little sister. New software and cheeky games in addition to bingo!". Actually it is a similar site, but offering a few extra slot machines and instant games. Full review is here.
