On 6th July 2009 ThinkBingoCosy underwent yet another re-brand as it became LittleBig Bingo. It wasn't just a case of renaming this online bingo site, a whole new ethos was born with LittleBig Bingo. This review is for information purposes only, check out our review of the new LittleBig Bingo to see what the new site has to offer.
Thinkbingocosy (previously known as Think Bingo Plus) is a close relation to the Think Bingo site, but with a slightly different look, a different name and the tag line, “Make yourself at home.” The Thinkbingocosy theme is one of comfort, relaxation and – you guessed it – general cosiness. According to the web site, the aim of Thinkbingocosy is “to replicate the Think Bingo quality in even more intimate & cosy surroundings,” though quite how one online bingo site can be any more cosy than another is something we have yet to work out.
Registering and playing at Thinkbingocosy is very easy. There is no software to download, so all you need to do is supply your personal information (name, address, etc.) and choose a bingo room to play in. There are six of these, but not all of them are open at the same time, so you will often have a choice of just two or three. Fortunately, both 90 ball and 75 ball games are offered around the clock, so whichever form is your favourite you won’t be left wanting.
Thinkbingocosy games are both affordable and well presented. Tickets start at just 10p each and you can buy up to 24 in any game, so even playing the maximum number of tickets allowed is affordable. The cards take up just under half of the screen space, as does the chat window. The rest of the screen is used for the numbers board and to display information about the game, jackpots and your balance. The screen is nice to look at (especially if you love the colour pink) and numbers are called clearly and positively.
Thinkbingocosy has a loyalty scheme that awards you Cosy Points every time you buy tickets or refer a friend. You get 1,000 Cosy Points just for signing up with Thinkbingocosy in the first place. However you get them, these points can be redeemed for cash in your account so that you can buy tickets at no cost to yourself.
Should you want to play a game other than bingo here at Thinkbingocosy, you can do so. There are more than three dozen games such as video poker and slots to keep you entertained, and all of them offer you the chance to win some very generous cash prizes.
Overall, Thinkbingocosy is a nice place to play bingo, but it isn’t enormously different from the original Think Bingo site and it is one of the least busy sites we have ever reviewed. That’s not such good news if you want to make scores of friends, but it does give you a very decent chance of winning.
Your Thinkbingocosy account can be funded using Visa, MasterCard, Visa Electron, Delta, Maestro, Switch, Solo, FirePay or Neteller. Your personal information is encrypted and securely transmitted using SSL 128 bit encryption software – the best in the industry.
Thinkbingocosy customer support is available from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday by using the web mail system at the Thinkbingocosy web site, or by calling 0845 226 8585. If you would like assistance outside those hours, go to the Help chat room and you will be able to speak with a member of staff.
