Think Bingo is a familiar name in the world of online bingo, but one that isn't so familiar is Think Bingo Plus. When we discovered that the company behind Think Bingo had launched another site with an almost identical name, we were left scratching our heads in bewilderment and asking the question "Why?" over and over. The answer is contained on the original Think Bingo site, which describes Think Bingo Plus as, "Think Bingo's naughty little sister. New software and cheeky games in addition to bingo!" Why the original Think Bingo site couldn't have simply been overhauled is a question we haven't yet been able to answer, but we have had a chance to review the naughty little sister and discover what all of the fuss is about… The home page of Think Bingo Plus is bright and colourful, and animated bingo balls wearing the latest headlines add a nice touch of movement. A tabbed menu at the top of the screen provides visitors with easy access to testimonials, the Think Bingo Plus forum, details of specials and much more. The bulk of the page, as you might expect, is devoted to advertising the generous promotions that are available and inviting first time visitors to get involved. Before you can play at Think Bingo Plus you need to register. This doesn't take more than a couple of minutes, and involves entering your name, address, phone number and credit or debit card details. Your reward for registering is 1,000 Plus Points. These are the same as Think Points on the original Think Bingo site, and have a cash value of around 0.01p. Your 1,000 point bonus therefore gives you £1 to spend on bingo cards before you have to deposit a penny. Further Plus Points are earned every time you buy a bingo card (1 point is awarded for every 10p spent) and you can get a 5,000 bonus when you refer a friend. Technically, if you refer enough friends to Think Bingo Plus you may never have to make a deposit! The Think Bingo Plus software is all web-based, so no download is required - just log in and you'll be taken to the main lobby. Here you can choose which bingo game you want to play. Traditional 90 ball bingo is available as well as a host of other bingo games that are open at peak times or "coming soon". We assume that these include 75 ball pattern bingo, which is the mainstay at Think Bingo. You can also play other non-bingo games, and we'll talk about those in a moment. One of the first things you will notice when playing bingo is the enthusiasm of the male caller. He sounds like Dale Winton an hour before closing time, but we mean that in the nicest possible way. Then you'll notice the very neat layout of the gaming screen. What we like about this is that the bulk of the screen is taken up by the two most important aspects of the online bingo game - the cards themselves and the chat window. Even better, the chat window can be adjusted so that you can see more or less of the player names, giving you less or more room for the chat itself, as you wish. The chat itself is as fun and friendly as at Think Bingo, and a moderator is always on hand to provide help and lashings of lucky dust. Cards cost from 10p upwards, and progressive jackpots are on offer in addition to the regular prizes. You can also play those additional non-bingo games that make Think Bingo Plus different to the original Think Bingo site. These include slot machines, table games (roulette, video poker and blackjack) and instant win games. All of these are well presented and enjoyable, and they certainly give Think Bingo Plus a bit of extra spice that was lacking at Think Bingo. Overall, we still don't understand why it was felt necessary to launch a whole new sister site instead of enhancing the original Think Bingo room, but we're very pleased with the additional features here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, well-rounded online bingo experience.
